How does Thermage FLX work?
Thermage® is a monopolar, capacitively coupled radiofrequency system, that utilizes a reverse thermal gradient, to non-invasively help smooth, tighten and contour the skin.3
The Thermage FLX® procedure is comprehensively outlined in a step-by-step process:

The tip is placed onto the skin.

The tip starts to vibrate (if activated). Cryogen cools and protects the epidermis.

The release of heat begins and penetrates the deepest tissues. Vibration continues.

Three cryogen releases are made in the epidermis. Deep heat and vibration continue.

A final release of cryogen is applied to cool the epidermis. The vibration stops.
